Dr. Don Trahan, Jr., CEO of Global Equity Entertainment, is a Certified Diversity Executive/Global Business Strategist with 12+ years of experience specializing in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) change management. He is recognized as one of the top 100 global leaders in DEI by the World Diversity and Inclusion Congress, with a demonstrated history working in higher education, government, and corporate settings.

He is sought out as a subject matter expert by various university administration and corporations to drive diversity metrics and accountability. As a global diversity practitioner, with a specialization in strategic diversity leadership and evidence-based management, Trahan has worked with organizations domestically and internationally to transform the overall climate of their organization. He adheres to a people first business framework, modeled by his commitment to understand the unique intersection of one’s worldview. This lens impacts how he plans, strategizes, and implements KPIs that are responsive to the needs of the organization. Moreover, he has been recognized as a competent professional who knows how to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with individuals from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

As a diversity practitioner, he utilizes a priority-based DEI implementation approach to develop, implement, and assess the change management process. Following evidence-based management techniques and empirical management research, he uses strategic diversity leadership strategies to drive change in organizations, identifying critical milestones and/or benchmarks to measure change in organization.

Dr. Trahan holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of New Mexico and a doctorate in business administration (DBA) from the University of Maryland Global Campus.

Dr. Don is taking his years of experience in Corporate America, academia, consulting, clinical mental health counseling, and professional speaking, and charting a new path with Global Equity Entertainment that will educate and activate audiences.
